You and Mrs. Chopper are on complete opposite ends of the spectrum in regards to your opinions on Daniel Craig. She thought he was absolutely hot (probably because his body is identical to mine).
I think Craig was wonderful, though Connery was the best. Roger Moore sucked ass but not as hard as Dalton. The writing, the terrible Bond Girls and the fact that he sucks at life just made him the worst of all. Craig is much much better than both Moore and Dalton.
But, the highlight of Casino Royale was really Eva Green, imho.

i thought craig kicked ing ass as bond. cuckingfunt's implication that he sucks as bond just because he doesn't turn her on is crazy.
That's not the issue. Pierce Brosnan doesn't turn me on, but I thought he was a great choice.
The Bond character has never particularly struck me as the typical action hero type, though. Sure, Daniel Craig is probably the most "bad ass" of any of the Bonds, but I don't think that being a "bad ass" is a required trait for the character. There needs to be some smooth, there needs to be some humor, there needs to be some dreamy, there needs to be a bit of a wink and a nudge, and I just don't get any of that from Daniel Craig. Never have -- he's given me the ooky vibe since I first saw him (at least as far as I can remember) in Tomb Raider.
I loved that.
Have you all seen Brosnan's wife lately? Dear God, she has packed on the pounds with a vengeance.

If you ask me, Connery IS Bond.
I actually really liked Brosnan as well, but he sided more on the 'comical' Roger Moore Bond in the last few films he did - which doesnt help his reputation. Goldeneye though, was great.
Excluding Larenby/Lazenby whatever his name was (The Aussie Bond) who was obviously the worst, I think Craig has easily already passed Dalton and is even with Brosnan, and depending on the next few Bonds could catch Moore. But there is no way he replaces Connery.
And yes, that le is shocking!

yeah but Bond isn't supposed to be some emo who falls in love and gets all emo sad after she betrays him and dies. With a name like Quantum Of Solace they might as well get that from Fall-Out Boy to be Bond.
Solace means comfort or relief in a time of sorrow. Per MSNBC:

and that has no business being in the le of a James Bond film. This is probably the gayest decision anybody involved with Bond has ever made. It tops the invention that can turn a Korean into a white guy.
Seriously, worst ing name ever. And what's Craig supposed to do, say "yeah the le sucks but I'm making a ton of money so who ing cares"?
