The defense is what we should be worrying about right now. Bowen on the bench doesn't help. Udoka for Finley however...

The only way Udoka should start is if it's in place of Finley. Taking Bowen out of the starting lineup pretty much diminishes his purpose-he's supposed to shut down the opposing team's star and by getting on him early, he gets that star out of rhythm for the game.

They already have Finley, Duncan, and Parker for scoring. They need to get something going on the bench, which is why he needs to stay there.

I said after the Houston game that I wanted Ime starting, but not over Bowen. My reasoning is our defense is pathetic in the first quarter and with Bruce and Ime out there I think the Spurs can set the right tone to begin the game and carry that tone throughout the rest of the game. This is not an offensive move, it is a defensive move and I think it needs to happen. I hope Pop sees the light and goes ahead with it.

the sad truth is, replacing finley would probably be an improvement offensively anyway. less finley and more udoka is a win-win both ways.

Ime needs to start. He's one of 3 players, along with Manu and TD that are trying right now. Barry was as well, but the guy can't get healthy. This team has serious problems right now, and it has to do mainly with effort.

something needs to be done. our d sucks AND our offense sucks at this point. if you can't stop a team, you at least have to match baskets with them.
