It would have counted as 3 points and would go to the Spurs player nearest the Spurs basket...not nearest the opposing player who takes the shot.
That's what happened the other night (Utah?) when Oberto was credited with two points.
and manu would've gotten the three...to make up for the one he missed. Wow...that would've been awesome.
