if memphis is having a fire sale, can we trade for mikey miller?????
that's actually a sick starting 5...wow![]()

too many chiefs not enough indians?
this obviously looks like a great trade for the lakers... but it might just be 2004 all over again.
Ghost Writer says no.
do you ing remember how we ended that season?
The expiring contracts of Barry, Elson and Horry plus their choice of Mahinmi, Splitter and/or first round picks for Gasol would have been a rather nice trade.
Gasol isn't good enough to be a franchise player but as a second or third option he'd be pretty awesome.
There's no way this is 04 again.....
You now have 2 twin towers and a 6'10 (soft as butter) SF and Kobe.....
mikey miller would be an excellent 2 guard because he can actually shoot...i love Fin dawg but i'd rather see Mikey stretching the d.
That front court is sick nasty silly. Oh well, we have Oberto, Lord of the Tip-Out Offensive Board.
Only one ball...and that's Kobe's...for a better idea of how this turns out, see 04.
And no...Kobe isn't Jordan.
I already floated the idea elsewhere a couple of days ago. Good thinking.
Well, that's a rather one-sided trade.
And the Lakers are now instant contenders.![]()
And they traded Stro Show for Jason Collins?
Man, they are cleaning house
The Grizz would have been better off with something like that, but maybe...shoot I don't know why they did that. Good job by Mitch and the Lakers. Its going to be even better now. Kobe should shut his mouth now.
h0ly . nice move for LA.
Do you remember how the Lakers finished that season?
what do we need to match up better with that team?
i would agree with you but kobe has been playing a little more team oriented lately and with the additional fire power, he can relax for for a few quarters and dominate the 4th. it's going to be interesting to see how fast they can orient Gasol to the triangle and integrate him into the offense.
Kobe can do his thing and have a low post threat in Gasol while Bynum gets healthy. We still keep Odom as a the 3rd option. Oh and we got rid of ing cake hands.
Turned out great for the Spurs.
And no, I don't think this makes the Lakers championship favorites or anything like that. But there's no doubt that this trade just made the Lakers a lot tougher to beat once they are healthy. Before this trade, I thought the Lakers would be one and down in the first round again.
Now it looks like they should be able to make it to the second round or maybe the WCF. The already tough West just got tougher.
Not to mention we have Marc Gasol as second round pick. I'm a little upset that Crittenton went...but Farmar has improved a lot.
Kobe has been sharing the ball to people who can't score like Odom/Walton/Kwame.
Now there's a 1-2 punch inside with Gasol and Bynum, Kobe dicing things up in the middle and shooters like Fisher, Farmar and Sasha around.
I'd deal Odom for a shooter but he can play Casper all he wants now.
They're going to have a huge front court. Bynum is a young beast.
This is bad news for Spurs fans but even worse for GS and Phoenix fans.
