Fact is Kobe is better than Duncan and Kobe's team has far more depth. Spurs have the main 3 and then complete trash. Thats the difference.


You are sublime! Duncan is far better than Kobe in basketball IQ and much better as far as overall contribution on the floor. Duncan routinely draws 2-3 defenders as well.

Don't underestimate Spurs depth either, Damon S. is a great pickup and next year they will have Tiago Splitter. Spurs still far better than Lakers until Lakers show they can play defense and that Bynum and Gasol can mesh together - may not happen with brain dead Odom in the mix.
