Lest we forget the Clinton camp's "Barack Hussein Obama" calls. You do have to admit, if you are pursuing something in which that is deemed to be a worthy insult, perhaps it isn't worth that much.

At what point do Edwards and Gore endorse Obama? Edwards is clearly hedging his bets, but one would have to think that Gore is waiting until he can do maximum damage to the Clintons.
Obama and Edwards had a meeting yesterday; Gore is playing Grand Poobah of the Superdelegates, telling them to hold their electoral fire for now.

Maybe I'm wrong but at this point the Clintons can't stop Obama. The Democratic base seems to think he would be a solid general election candidate and at the end of the day, that's the only thing that could sink his candidacy. But they seem clearly determined to do anything including permanently damaging their reputation within the party to garner its nomination. The Clintons don't strike me as a couple who will bow out graciously. Let's not forget, without rehashing all of the gory details, that they were perfectly willing to force their party to back them up for a year or what not when BClinton flat out lied to them about Lewinsky.
The Clintons are desperate and as long as they don't absolutely have to go away, they won't. This is going to get nastier.

Some Mexican leftist newspaper is heralding Obama as possibly the first "Leftist" American President in history. I expect the Clintons to have their "Obama is a closet Marxist" viral campaign underway by March 4. They can even use the Che Guevara flag in the Houston office to buttress the claim.
