    What the media forgets is that most Americans are somewhere in the middle of right and left, unfortunately for the Dems, they put leftists up against moderates.
    I do agree with this statement to a degree. However, I think Obama will draw more independents and moderate Republicans than Al Gore or John Kerry did. Of course, who knows what's going to happen over the course of a six or seven month campaign. Maybe it will be revealed that Obama truly is Muslim or that Obama is the Black child that John McCain fathered.

    Not saying it's a deciding factor, I'm pointing out that it's very telling. If they can cite his empty rhetoric word for word, you'd think they could site one thing he's accomplished in the political realm.
    I think it is telling. It shows that the Obama campaign needs to be a little more careful with the people it chooses to speak for the campaign on national television.
