    Unbelieveable what some people consider concerning Duncan. He's going nowhere except to more NBA finals and eventually to the HOF. He's a Spur for life IMO.
    Untradeable and this subject should be unthinkable and is to most Spurs fans.

    those two words should be illegal when put together on spurs talk!!! i wouldnt trade duncan for pau gasol & dwight howard, not because duncan is ten times better than them at the moment its called respect and i would rather have him retire here on half a leg than to be traded for some young guy and throw our franchise player to the dumpster. i could care less if we suck for 3yrs of his twilight we peak together and we fall together. i got so pissed when i saw the thread le cause i thought theres no way in and if its true pop should be let go..... please dont make up false les to your thread, esp about our timmy

    TD with 2 years remaining and on a downward spiral.
    Howard in his prime with many good years to come.

    TD will retire a spur, he's part of the place.

    If the spurs were selfish and were looking to the future they'd have to do it cos just like we built a team round Timmy, a team can be built around Howard.
