i feel bad for yao personally, too. dude is extremely hard on himself and feels terrible when he isn't contributing to his team. poor guy.

Bottom line is pretty much every team in Sports is vulnerable to a lost season by losing their franchise player. I feel really bad for Rockets fans and for T-mac as well. Good lord that man can't get a break.

yeah another insider posted last night on clutchfans that yao had an mri done and he was fearing the worst. this sucks. he is a tough guy and never es about being in pain like pussy t-mac. he tries to play thru stuff and never complains about it to the media.
I could care less about how T-mac feels.....I feel really awful for Yao. He's a great guy and is the most popular basketball player in the world....he's got the weight of an entire country on his shoulders and this has to be really really tough for him.

I would say tank the season, but it'd be better to make the playoffs just to piss off any Warriors/Nuggets fans for being happy about this.

dammit! This sucks. He played 3 weeks with a stress fracture in his arch. 4 months to heal up. I guess he can play in the Olympics. Well, guess we'll see how good Scola and Landry really are. Deke will get some burn now too.
Just very unfortunate for Yao, and the Rockets. Hopefully this injury does not have lingering effects on Yao. It would be a great story tho if the Rockets could still make the playoffs.
It's a terrible feeling when one of your franchise players goes down. I feel for you, Rockets fans.
