Taco Bell is okay as long as you don't consider it Mexican food. You couldn't pay me to eat the majority of the items on the menu, but there are a few things that are quite tasty in their own disgusting little way.

The funny thing is that I've never once had diarrhea from Taco Bell. Ever.

In 34 years, I've eaten at Taco Bell twice. There won't be a third time.
Taco Bell is a pile of covered in 3 layers of cheese, which renders it bland and tasteless whilst clogging your arteries double time. Wonderful food!
BTW, what is it with Americans and covering everything in layer after layer of tasteless jack cheese??? I just don't get it. Cheese has its place, but the way it's overused in a lot of American food (especially fast food and chain diner food) it just covers up the other flavours, and adds needless calories. I guess if you grow up with it it seems normal.
Overuse of jack cheese, and high-fructose corn syrup, are responsible for a big chunk of the obesity epidemic is my guess.

But Americans don't really use much Jack cheese. It's mostly cheddar and American cheese that are used in the way you describe. Real Mexican food uses mostly white cheeses----their versions of jack, mozzarella, and muenster.
Most of you have some bad taste or your taste buds like untasty food. I don't do that gourmet and all those gourmet restauraunts, they taste pretty ing bad. Taco Bell pwns. They can put MSG on a pickled taco and it will still taste good to me.

mrsmaalox - thank you for the cheese lesson.You hear/see a lot of ads that mention jack cheese, but really I meant tasteless jack/cheddar/whatever. IMHO, there is a lot of unnecessary cheese, whatever its creed!
Don't get me wrong - I love cheese, especially aged extra tasty cheddar and swiss - but melting layers of generic, tasteless cheese on everything like TB (amongst others) does makes no sense to me.

Ohhh I love Taco Bell! I get everything with Beans though, no beef (and no I have never had gas or diarhhea from eating there). I put the "hot sauce" on everything.
I mainly just stick to their original Taco's and nachos. Not a big fan of all their new stuff
On the flip side, I can't tell you the last time I was at a McDonald's...
