Reminds me of "El Birdos" from the '60s.

Absolutely ridiculous. As already mentioned, it's rather "Las Espuelas" or "Espuelas". But even the article is badly written. "Ven partido con los Spurs!" is awful Spanish, the exact translation of that is "Come game with the Spurs". Was this written by the American equivalent of Kill Bill Pana?
If they want to target the Spanish-speaking population in the Southern US, they should do a better job at researching and translating.
What a classic screw up. What gringo thought this one up?
Im from Mexico and to be really honest we(the latins) are the first one to modify our language. you will never hear some one say .."quiero una estacion de juego" in spanish its the right way to say "i want a playstation" ..the only way that you will hear that it will be... "quiero un playstation" even when that's an awful use of the languege
so ..as you will necer hear someone say "quiero una estacion de juego" you will never hear "vamos a ver a las espuelas de san antonio" becouse we say "vamos a ver el juego de los spurs" so for me its the rigth way
...also "las espuelas" sounds so gay in spanish jajaja ...its like the WNBA team form SA
or something like ..at least in mexico we say "los lakers" .."los bulls" .."los spurs" so its ok
we use american words on the names and we dont translate them. as we dont translate the names..like peter = pedro...if peter comes we will never call him pedro
by the way the translation of the lakers its the most ridiculous translation jajaja
its "los laguneros de los angeles" ..men that sounds so wird
they did the south US populations tlaks this way..you know spanglish ..so its ok
I agree with most of that, but the "ven partido con los Spurs!" is equally funny![]()
Some of them might speak Spanglish, but to those that speak proper Spanish it's ridiculous.
so you usually use "los laguneros" ...i guess no so dont talk about how correct you are please ...or how do you translate de nuggets?? los pepitas??? ..comm'on!!!!
tell us how do you usually use the language????
What came up with this brilliant move? women need to just stay home n shut up
Another case of a good idea being falsely executed.
All of your jersey are belong to us.
I was talking about the "Ven partido con los Spurs!" part.
If they lose the game, or start going on a losing streak, I'm blaming it on this.
If Los Spurs lose that game, does it even go in the Spurs L column?
Hey, mebbe Stern's trying to use the SPURS to increase South American viewership.
Don't knock it. Could mean a couple of calls in the playoffs.
Viva los Spurs ya'll.
So is this supposed to mean the Spurs are mexicans....i dont get it?
