    nbafan12az, you just perpetuate the reputation of Suns fans as crybabies and Laker fans as Fakers. I've always been a huge Laker fan myself (having lived many years in Southern California), but I've never been stupid enough to disrespect the achievements of champions, and the realities of the game.

    Re: Kobe would not have all his rings without Shaq, and Kareem wouldn't have had his without Magic, Byron Scott, Worthy, etc. (and before that in Milwaukee, without the Big O). Long before that, legendary teams such as the Russell era Celtics, the Knicks of Clyde and Reed days, and the Jordan driven Bulls all epitomize one basic, albeit elementary, fact of the sport: it takes a team, not a single superstar, to win an NBA championship.

    So you're right to say Duncan would not have won anything without Robinson, or Tony, Manu, et al. But it's sheer idiocy to denigrate his lofty accomplishments based upon the logic of "he-could-never-had-won-it-by-himself." What great baller has? Jordan? Magic? Shaq? Russell? Chamberlin?

    Heck, I'm an idiot for wasting my breath with someone of your intelligence.
