I like it when we play the Nuggets.
It's always physical, and there's a certain edge to it because we took them out of the playoffs in two of our recent le runs.
Iverson is always something to watch.

I think the Spurs will come out motivated after last night. Pop made his point quite clear about how they've been playing, even with the win streak.
Our main guys got some rest, so even the travel shouldn't have too much of an impact.
The Nuggets like to run and get opponents winded early, but the Spurs can run with them.
It should be a fun game to watch.
Just what I need on a Thank God it's Friday night.

Oh...and it's a national game, so those of us hanging in the game blog all see the same broadcast. That always makes it more fun for me. With League Pass the call varies so sometimes you guys are watching the Spurs call but I'm watching the other teams. Because I don't have any Spurs fans around me the game blog lets me feel like I'm watching with friends.

I'm just looking forward to the column by Mark Kiszla (or whatever the that guy's name is) tomorrow declaring that the Spurs are a bunch of has-been schumcks if the Nuggets win tonight -- with added insight from the video guy or Carmelo's masseuse or KMart's fluffer or some other random Nuggets staffer.

I agree with TPark, though, I'd be surprised if the Spurs win tonight.

    Spurs 98-Nugs 94

The rest for the big 3 theoretically should have paid off but I usually expect the unexpected and see an uphill battle before the spurs actually streak and get the lead.

Not feeling good about this one. If the big 3 are on and they get some bench help from 2-3 guys we should win but I feel like an egg is coming on.

Watch out for JR Smith. He's been on fire.

Pop should be quite rested for this game after only 18 minutes against the Pacers the night before.

Won't be able to see the game tonight. My sister's coming back from college for spring break, so I won't be around much for about a week.

Meh, there are bigger games for the Spurs (and for the Nuggets, too). Still, Nuggets fans and their incessant booing of Manu have a funny way of fueling him -- as if he needs fuel right now.

    I still smell a loss here for some reason. . . .

    play-off positioning
22 games left before playoffs for the reigning champs Spurs.

This is an important game to the Nuggets. They want a spot in the playoffs-they're still outside looking in.
    So don't be over-confident Spurs.

while the Spurs(#1 or #2 seed in the playoffs), losing this might give AI a chance to meet them in the first round(again?).
Or maybe they want to face the Warriors?
    how about the Mavericks?

    playoff race:
    Western Conference
    Seed Team GB
    1 San Antonio -
    2 L.A. Lakers 0.5
    3 New Orleans 2
    4 Utah 4
    5 Houston 2.5
    6 Phoenix 3.5
    7 Dallas 5
    8 Golden State 6

    Still alive
    9 Denver 7
    10 Portland 12.5

I'm not too sure about that if the Spurs play like the first half yesterday and the Nuggets play like that against the Suns with Shaq the other day. JR Smith is the difference. But Ime might be able to stop him.

But I see a W but in a single digit or 12 at most.
But I hope your guess will come true.

Back to back with at ude and al ude.

Even tho the guys didn't play a full game last night, this is one that the Nuggets should win.

If not, good on us and shame on them.
