Or when they come up with 'mother' insults.![]()
This is one of the four losses I was counting on when I made my 9-4 prediction for the "predict Jan Record" thread along with @phoenix, @Sacramento, and @Seattle. But you don't see me starting a thread to brag about it.
Seriously. These "hey look at me" threads are pretty phuckin gay.

Walton, thanks for bringing nothing to this forum.
damnit Jim, you're a dentist, not a prognosticator.....but good call.
very dissappointed to drop a close one, but the jazz were overdue.
This wasn't a "tough" game by any definition, so you're self-congratulation is baseless, but revealing anyway.
It was a ing give-away game. Nobody played anything "tough".
Hey, let's move on. The Jazz made enough last second, off balance shots to last them the rest of the season. It was their night. Forget about it.
BS. The Jazz did all except be on a court where the head-up-their-ass Spurs were giving another game away.
Don't agree. Okur, Lopez and that little guard all made shots they normally never make...and with 2 or 3 seconds left on the shot clock under duress. Spurs played much better than the win against Denver I think.
This stuff is all in fun for me. I have been in this Spurs forum for over 5 years and the core of people that have been with me have all had an ongoing oneupsmanship from day one in our predictions and and good natured ribbing of each other.Seriously. These "hey look at me" threads are pretty phuckin gay.
Kori too is one of the originals in here and she is also one to play along with predictions and mock self aggrandizing when in the rare times we are correct.
All is done with tongue in cheek and I thought it was obvious to all of you.
I do not seek, nor desire to have my ego propped up in here when I post about my predictions...I do it for fun, and those of you that do not want to participate in this little compe ion, than just stay out of my threads.
Deal?
SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- When Mehmet Okur's putback rolled in at the buzzer, the Utah Jazz celebrated as if they had just won a playoff series.
Although the game was not a sellout, the 18,325 fans roared as the Jazz mobbed Okur in celebration...
"I'm happy for them, in a strange sort of way," said San Antonio coach Gregg Popovich, who waved and nodded to Sloan as he left the court...
Not only did Utah end a nine game losing steak but they did it against an opponent that has been pounding the best teams in the NBA all year...Give the Jazz their props for staying with the Spurs for 4 quarters...
I too do not feel badly. The Jazz fans have had to endure an awful time this year in losing their superstar player. We Spurs fans know what that is like, and I have empathy for them.
Sloan has had a rough couple of years and he needed this win pretty bad.
kudos to the Jazz for the good win.
The Spurs do great charity work in the San Antonio community, but they shouldn't being playing (so many) charity games.
Agreed. A little too much screaming for the spotlight, regardless of the rationale.Seriously. These "hey look at me" threads are pretty phuckin gay.
You obviously have no reason for bragging, judging from your vBookie balance.

Not that there's anything wrong with that.
You obviously have no reason for bragging, judging from your vBookie balance.![]()
Fair enough, but if you can post stuff saying how great you and your picks are, I can post in return making fun of you proclaiming your greatness, regardless of my tenure or post count.
She is a frustrated kindergarten teacher wannabe, I think.

Ok, deal. I never said I was beyond reproach...but Walton can not tell me anything, because he is a weed.

There. Now we can be friends again.![]()
PS- To prove my sincerity, I started the defense of Steve Francis in the other thread.
Anyone else see the irony in someone calling someone 7 years old and following it up with a I ed your mom joke?
Nice call Jimbo.
