I don't think the PG position killed us today, I think it's just lack of hunger by the team as a whole.
It was just a bad shooting night for a lot of people, and Manu turning the ball ova once or twice in the 4th. I didnt see any luck of hunger myself.

Damon is the worst defensive PG of the Popovich era. Putting him into the game is like dumping nitrous into the intake of the opposition offense.

I don't get it, Vaughn has been very consistent in his role. Why can't people appreciate him?
Everything else being equal, he cant spread the floor like Barry can. It's hard to see right now, but the offense flowed a lot better with him out there as the PG.

Vaughn is a warm body out there, nothing more nothing less. We will need more come playoff time though.

Truth is, I don't mind Damon as a distributor. He can handle running set plays fairly well for a PG who is fairly new to the system.

I would rather he just not shoot unless it's last resort with the shot clock down.

I think the days of a scoring Damon are long over, and he should just come in to fill the stop gap when Parker rests.

I'd love to have a backup scoring PG, but it's just not happening this year, so let's keep Damon as a facilitator.

Parker and Manu should be able to handle things just fine. You put Stoudamire in just for a few minutes to rest these guys. If you play Damon more than that...well that's on Pop.
