Chris Buddy Holly is known to insult others for no reason when he's bored (Myself Included) so it's hard to really believe him when he says anything worth reading anymore. I would just wait until San Antonio builds a new exit ramp and he will be to busy to criticize the show anymore.

I really would wish you could have set up a temporary email account so people online could be part of the show also. Other than that keep the freak show alive it works!

I appreciate you taking some time to personally respond. Though I think you misunderstood my post. Nowhere in it did I say your show doesn't cover sports, I simply wanted to know how midget escorts fits on a radio program. Like I said, that segment seemed very Stern-ish/Opie and Anthony-ish/Any generic shock jock-ish.

I enjoyed the sports aspect of the show that I listened to yesterday. I could have done without the midget escort. Don't get me wrong, I'm not a prude who was offended or something, if you were that type of show and that was one of your segments I'd have found it more enjoyable but the fact was I tuned in specifically to hear sports chatter (be it local or national) and I got midget escort talk.
    Hey N-Sync afficionado,

I realize this may come as a shock to you, but Dawn, Chris, and Jason (order based on my personal preference, of course) do not sit around before the show wondering what your pic-ganking ass might think "fits on a radio program".

This just in...they're doing a show. A local, not-spawned-in-Dallas, not trying to please corporate America show. If you've listened to Chris Duel for more than 10 seconds in his LENGTHY and highly successful local radio career, you know this.

If you don't like what they're doing on the show, here's an open invitation to CHANGE THE ING STATION. That way, if there happens to be a non-sports story (the HORRAH!!!) on the show, you won't be disappointed.

    you very much,
    Alamo Midget Hooker Fan

Tune into the first 15 minutes of the ticket today around 3pm and get back to me about SEX and sports.

A far as the Midget talk goes it's ok as long as Charles Barkley tosses one out the window then it's on every sports station in America.

    ASF, Mouse and ScoobyDoo,

While I appreciate your support more than you know, I do also appreciate criticism like Buddy Holly's. I have always assumed that there's a bell curve when it comes to radio listeners. Usually 20% will love what you're doing, 20% will hate what you're doing and the big bell curve of 60% will be somewhere in the middle.

Of course, I aspire to increase the 20% who really dig what we're doing. I was a sports fan and a talk radio fan long before I ever got on the air. My best barometer on what works and what doesn't is my own sensibilities as a sports fan, a radio listener and a radio host.

I thank Buddy Holly for the feedback.

It would suck royally if I didn't pay attention to criticism or if I were so blindly arrogant to think that what we do is right and therefore, any criticism must be wrong.

We're gonna blow it sometimes. We're gonna fail sometimes. We're gonna suck sometimes.

But we're doing so while trying to create good, compelling, fun, sports-oriented, entertaining radio.

I'll take the criticism - the good, the bad and the ugly - and always re-evaluate what we're doing.

Alamo Spurs Fan and Mouse have been great friends and supporters throughout my kooky radio "career." It's always nice to know there are a few people out there who get you and know where you're coming from.

For everyone else, thanks for sampling us now and then.

Our show is a work-in-progress and I strongly believe we will only get better over time.

    Chris

There's always been a risk for pro athletes in terms of a potential attack by a spectator however your argument that Lebron increased that risk is wrong. I agree that Lebron probably shouldn't have been so happy and honored to have some random fan run on to the court to try and meet him but that's not going to up the ante for a delusional nut case who wants to hurt or kill a player.

A real nut case looking to do that is going to do it no matter what. Luckily those people are few and far between. Though, if anything the chances are much greater for an injury and not a murder. A fan running onto a baseball field, football field, basketball court, etc is almost certainly not going to be packing a gun so through that out. What you're left with is a average sized person running up to a male athlete and having limited time of making to the athlete before security/someone intervenes.

If he has a weapon for sure he'd be taken out by taser or gun before meeting the athlete. And what if he actually comes face to face with the athlete, well, I doubt the athlete would just stand there, there'd be struggle/conformation with all likelihood the athlete winning/subduing the crazy .

    That's my argument.

Anyway, again, thanks for the response and I hope to hear more of your show as well as ESPN The Zone.

    P.S.

    Check your PM.

I couldn't decide which one I made was more truthful.
