Don't cry for me Argentina.
Out of his last 8 games, I'd say he's played fantastically in 4, well in 2 and poorly in 2.
It seems all fans have short memories.
Don't cry for me Argentina.
The church of Manu is gonna hunt you down now...
Why the need to draw attention to any players bad nights?
Tim was sucking two weeks ago with a couple stinkers. Let our guys have a couple bad games. They're not robots. (Although Timmy comes close.)
These threads are pointless and kiddish, counting how many times a player gets praise vs. criticism. After a while it's like who cares, ti's always from the same stupid people against Manu adn Tony anyway.
The only annoying part, is it gets to the regular fans who puts it on themselves make threads like these to call out those posters.![]()
What is it??? His second or third good game of the season… excellent and we even won the game…. Wait, wait.…. We lost …. Yea but TP had a good game, so what right???? sadly spurs looked better without him…![]()
I'm not 'fraid of some fake Italians.
They're all elite players and deserve almost equal credit (Timmy deserves a little more, IMHO). But, people seem to want to prop up one or two, while minimizing another. Well, they'd be the first to admit that their chemistry and trust in one another carries this team. I love'em all!
Are you ing stupid? Read the thread, its replies. God Damn fools man, that's what ST is becoming. You and people like you getting a rise out of just plain opinions and facts from the season thus far. I haven't seen one person hate or as you say harp TP yet. It's just fact TP despite his injury has been slow to get back to 100%.
great he had two great games I am happy as a Spurs fan, ing hooray. And we lost both. Get off his damn balls and lets hope he can keep it up like he did last season because we need it to repeat.
Perhaps it would have been a win if Manu had contributed a little.
We all do, it's a team sport.
But here on ST, you'll find that the Manu/Tony war continues from season to season.
Get used to it.![]()
I can't . I'm not an Argie Spurs fan.
I'm a Timmy bandwagoner.
Because the double standard is apparent every ing single time.
If Tony and Manu had switched games tonight, there would be twenty separate threads talking about how great Manu was, and how he's the only player in the history of the Spurs with any guts or heart or will, and another fifteen separate threads about how ty Tony was. But since that didn't happen, this is the only thread we get.
I'll stick with T Park's theory on all the hate for Tony in San Antonio
I'd say fantastic in 3, well in 3 and piss poor in 2. That's my opinion. Doesn't mean I have a bad memory. It means Tony can do better than that and I personally have seen it so maybe he keeps it up now. TP was more dependable than Manu at one time and now that the lines have crossed fans are flipping over some seriously stupid .
I'm sorry that I'm new here and you feel you can come at me any sort of way. But, I'm voicing my ing opinion too. And, it's obvious that his injury had slowed him, yet he's slowly rounding back into form. I, like any Spur fan with common sense, realize that we need Tim, Manu and Tony to play at an elite championship-level to repeat. But, complaining or "harping on" the fact that Tony has struggled this season, which is completely obvious, is pointless if/when he turns it around.
Did you and moan when people were happy that Tony won the Finals MVP?
Well, now you wanna talk about manu![]()
the number 20 made you jump .. we need to win... that's all I'm trying to say
Or if Bowen and Udoka weren't out. Or if we made more buckets them.
It was a team loss get over the Manu/Tp thing.
Also, who cares about the double-standard crap? That's just how fans are' they going to have favorites; live with it.
Unfortunately Manu sometimes get the golden boy treatment and then people try to compensate for that on the forum.
Get over yourselves. Demand for "Equal Praise" for everyone crap usually results in equal bashing here.
Tony doesn't speak Spanish, is black, and has a latina wife. No wonder the hate is strong.
good game tonight. Spurs on par w/ Deeeetroit Baaaasketball (considering a close game at their arena). which means they have some improving to do before they'll be able to win another championship.
/can't believe the amount of trolls on this forum
//fears the wussifaction of US/UK

All the more reason for Manu to step it up tonight.
I believe you think you're claiming some truth when really you're digging a hole that's deep enough as it is.
It's like fads, what's hip and cool, the media. Why be apart of it within your own team? Who cares, really?
Manu has more support naturally because of his country and his number of fans. Tony doesn't have that. And Tony has been weened and milked since he was a baby coming over here. Now he's in his mid 20s and married to a superstar and got hurt at a crucial time. He's on a learning curb and learning how to come back and prove to everyone he can be the TP before the rings and marriage.
Not giving TP any excuses, but Manu is either on or off. And the offense has been running through mainly TD and Manu since TP was injured and they did a decent job. TP has been slower than expected to return to the status he made for himself and just because several horses hey over it doesn't mean it has to be a personal vendetta to call Manu out when he's been asked to do more this season than ever before in his career.
Frankly, I see no double standard. Other than what the fans create and depress over and crap like some statements in this thread prove that people are just drama queens.
I wish he did.
Too bad he sucks right now.
Well I am sorry if I'm brash. It's just I'm tired of people riding TP when he got himself here, he can perform if people on both sides back off. Call it harping, hating or whatever but TP has been the odd one out this year so far and he needs to just keep doing what he's done the past couple trips and hopefully things come together and the Ls turn to Ws.
Stop all the frickin lameness.
Parker was injured for several months. I don't know how anyone thinks his "inconsistency" this season is due to anything else but that. He's finally coming back into game shape and getting his legs under him and we should be thankful for that. The Spurs need the Big 3 and some role players to all be rolling if they a chance in of making it out of the West.
Enough with all the trash, all the time. It's almost playoff time .. Spurs fans need to start battling with the opponent's fans and stop taking on each other.
Here's hoping that Tony is getting into shape, Manu finds some time to rest, Timmy is in MVP form and Bruce is pissed off![]()
He was injured for several months. I know you get that, right?
