I'm really curious to see what happens with Spurstalk in the future.
Honestly in my short 3 years this place hasn't changed a lick except for flash at the top (spork and spam dancing around) and some sub forums changed around. Other than that it's the same stuff.
The occasional ex-Spursreport person comes by, claims why they hate the place, when they got banned, post, and never come back
I think mouse by accident created a major downfall to ST and that's the trolls and all the fake user names people post on. I doubt when he did it he realized it would spark a revolution of ignorant noobs and fans of other teams. To me that's the main problem amongst ST because of all the threads, argument it ignites, and then Spur fans here draw lines, and start hating on each other.
I think Kori would say however, if you don't like it off. But in a long term sense this place has to change, evolve or something eventually because I've seen it happen to bigger forums before, these kind of places die in a span of 3 months tops and on two I have in mind, it all started over trolls and just people doing whatever the they want.
Not complaining, just making observations. SpursDynasty getting licked struck some issues in my mind.

I don't see it the way you do.
For me, ST has grown and evolved.
The trolls are part of it, I think most of them add a lot of fun.
The obnoxious ones I try to ignore.
I do see Spurs fans against Spurs fans more now than before, but that's predictable with so many passionate posters. People love the game, love the team, love their favorite player, and have the freedom to speak their minds.
I think that's a good thing.
I also love the fans of other teams here. (Not the trolls, but the fans that can talk basketball.) I think they bring a great dimension to the board that other boards don't have because people can't speak their mind there.
I see it as an ebb and flow.
There's a core group of regulars, then there's the fly-by-nights that come and go.
It's the regulars that keep me here.
I'm really quite happy here.
I wouldn't change a thing and I would contribute in any way Kori wanted/needed to help her keep ST just like it is.

I mean obviously it is, but in the long run the immature non-sense will have to stop eventually if this place is to grow outside of the same number of people posting that was 3 years ago it appears. And if it has grown not by much. Unless there is no goal or outlook for the forum then, ...haha.. whatever. As far as Spurs fans fighting with eachother I didn't mean like that. Any fans are passionate and will bicker each other. But here it has gotten out of hand with the Scola crap, the Manu vs Parker ordeals. It's just old, and seeing that with the trolls, no telling how many people that alone has turned away. Not that ST is a popularity contest of trying to promote itself. I know it's not, but will it always be like this?
I like it here too. I lurked for about 6 months or so before I posted. I posted at Spursreport often and it just seemed too commercial. And maybe that's exactly why I like ST because they are so the opposite. We may be little brother to SR but we are more friendly and easy going.
I suppose also I don't know ST true intent or future plan if there is one. I often wonder if this place is always going to be like a loud bar, or will it expand. Will it just sort of be a free for all forever or will mods take over at some point and control things? Will there be added servers or a makeover? I don't call it selling out. Don't sell the place to some firm, but if I owned ST and had the free time boy, I'd do some things to this place. Advertise, grow, update, remodel, some order.
Just speaking with a loose tongue and off the top of my head really. I have the feeling this is just not a priority thing to the head honchos, I think its taken as just a simple this and that, not much to it deal. Just a place to flame whatever, say whatever, relax, stay up to date. etc etc etc.

It's the complete opposite from ST to me.
No freedom, things taken completely the other way as here.
I'd much rather have the lean be towards freedom than not.
Obviously no one knows what the future will bring, on ST or anywhere else.
I'm happy here now, I have been for years.
I'd miss it horribly if something were to happen to it.
Kori and LJ are doing something right, in my eyes anyway.
They've brought a core group of people together from all over the world and created a place to be yourself. Whatever self you want to be at that moment.
