Wow this is really sweet.
Sweating in that suit ALL day? By the time they got the the steakhouse the coyote must have smelled more like roadkill.
Is this People Magazine or what ?
Stupid thread
It was a sweet thing, what he did. That must have taken a lot of effort. Just probably not the right timing to post it on Spurstalk.![]()
Church of TP is ... how to say ...... very sentimental
![]()
If he cared half as much about playing defense as he does about pleasing the missus, we might win a couple games here and there...
This is ridiculous. Bad timing for the thread.
Tony is just being a normal guy by doing special things for his wife on her birthday. I'm sure it has no negative effect what so ever on his game.
Don't be so sure ... I'm sure the effort and originality he put into that earned him the of a lifetime. He'll probably still be sporting ice packs tomorrow and walking with a noticable limp. I say he has the crappiest game of his career tomorrow.
Seriously, though...I can't believe the kind of inconsequential bull that pisses some of you off. Yesterday it was Sean Elliott calling the Boston game in the first quarter, today it's Tony doing something special for his wife on his day off. Oh, the horror.![]()
That was a pretty cool story.
Now you know what these guys do in their offtime AND on the planes.
Maybe not the best of times for the thread, if you are reffering to Manu's chronicles ( and only that), but the other you wrote here is laughable. Smooth by Tony, really smooth.
but but but butbut they were supposed to get divorced months ago
Eva probably puts a collar on the coyote and rides the mofo around the house![]()
I second that!
![]()
Now isn't that romantic? I need to show hubby this article.
You guys are idiots for bashing Tony for planning this during a losing streak. Somethiing like this took months of planning .. he didn't know the Spurs were going to be a losing streak when he started planning it. lol
Hahahaha not starting between the 2 but..
Manu laying in his sunroom, listening to crickets.. finding himself yet again during meditation... and Tony is out getting drunk, tossing parties and Eva's salad, have a grand ole time.
Opposites do attract. I know this personally.!!
Read the rest of the thread, you aren't the first one to try to start between them in the thread.
It's lame in my opinion. Do you think Tim hasn't played any video games since the Boston loss?
One time I saw Oberto and Manu eating out with their families after a Spurs PLAYOFF loss. And they were laughing .. can you believe it .. laughing??? What selfish assholes, right?![]()
Basketball is like any other job (except for the pay of course). With that said, the players have every right to do whatever they please once they've finished playing the game. I know that when I have a messed up day at work, I'm not going to go home and dwell on it. I'm off to "Happy Hour" to drink a margarita...
Speaking of margarita's, those $2.50 margaritas @ the Mama Margie's off of Military drive are pretty good.![]()
I would scream in their face DONT YOU HAVE A GAME TO PREPARE FOR.
Then I'd ask the family to leave, and pay for the meals, put them in my van and would call Pop away from his "Eyes Wide Shut" meeting, to handle them..
sarcasm alert!

" Los Spurs "
Good idea, good timing![]()
Sounds like some of you need to go out, have a few drinks and get laid. Good God.
Actully this is on topic, I wasn't going to make a thread about it but I do anyways sometimes but.................
After getting stomped by 25 in the bayou, my old friend Krista calls me up and says.. "Wayne! I'm at dinner here in NO, and GUESS who just came in!" I said uh, who.. "The Spurs! I know Manu, and Bruce, but I don't know the rest"
She said hold on, and I heard a bunch of guys yell "heyhi" in the back. She said "Seee!!!" and hung up.
So this is just another case and point, the Spurs having fun after they lost! I forbid it! hahaha
If someone thinks a three-time NBA champion should cancel a birthday party because of a regular season loss, that someone would be better off hanging up the mouse, unplugging the internet and going outside for a glimpse of the real world.
