Personally, I think the ROY is Horford - great numbers, all season, and doing it for a team most likely in the playoffs, whereas Durant is doing it on a team that sucks.

Scola is putting up decent numbers NOW but I don't anticipate that to last in a year or two, or even throughout the playoffs. I'm not saying he's terrible (neither is Kenyon Martin) but like Martin, I'm saying fans vastly overrate him. For a year or two (people may remember) NJ fans thought Martin was the Jesus himself or something.

Why would he play well this year, but in a year or two get worse? That doesn't sound rational. He isn't too old yet. If you think he's playing out of his mind at the moment, I can see your point. But I don't get a sense that he is playing beyond his abilities.
