You know I like Sjax and he does make big shots but he also takes a lot of dumb shots and makes dumb plays from time to time. There's a reason they are in the 8th seed.

With the loss, Lakers fall into a tie with NO for best record in the WC. Suns only 1/2 GB, SA and Houston are one back.

Five of the eight EC "playoff" teams would not qualify for the WC playoffs as things stand today.

Please I couldn't resist...check your b-ball a en.....look at the records between each team the last few years. We own them and they beat a depleted Laker team....I would love to play them in the first round. It would be our easiest match up.

I would absolutely love to play GSW in the 1st round. When we get our bigs back we will dominate them like we have been doing the past 4 years.

People are forgetting the Lakers are still playing short handed, this was a game where Bynum or Gasol would have made all the difference. I'm impressed that we were able to come back and almost pull out a win, we certainly aren't a team that is going to go away quietly no matter how undermanned we are.

Doubtful the bigs will be coming back at full strength and will need time to work back into the system.
Anyway, the bigs won't can't help Derek Fisher who was doing his matador routine and got exposed mightily tonite.
GS licking their chops, they can taste another dramatic upset.

If you think GSW is licking their chops to face the Lakers after damn near blowing a 25 pt lead you are outside your mind. We are tailor made to destroy them.

And aren't you 0-2 against GSW? Maybe you should be the ones worrying......

Warriors have tough schedule in the next 10 days, DAL twice w/o Dirk, so they could really eliminate DAL, but also play SA and DEN.

Golden State would be the easiest match up against the Spurs?

Jackson IS the reason they are the 8 seed. Without him they are worse than Sacramento. Remember the 0-6 start?

Yes he makes dumb plays, but he's gotten much better this year as opposed to the previous 3-4.

Plus, he's one of the clutchest players in the game. Dude hardly misses when the game is on the line.

S Jax was retarted in Indy, but he is water in GS. He has made so many clutch shots for them. He is a leader too now. In Indy he was a cancer. That Indiana team just needs to completely rebuild. Too much negativity over there.

GSW will get obliterated by our front court in the playoffs.

Gasol dropped 40+ on them earlier in the season, and Bynum has averaged 20+ pts/15rebs/5bpg. It's going to be a blowout of a series if there ever was one.

I'll reiterate it again. There have been no talks of Bynum coming back yet even though he was "supposed" to come back a while ago. The Mavs thought the same way of the Warriors last year too, so think however you want to.

I'll reiterate that the Laker organization NEVER EVER EVER said Bynum would be back in 8 weeks. They said 8 weeks MINIMUM you , knee injuries aren't exactly an exact science. And if you had followed the news instead of running your vomit mouth you would have seen the numerous articles and quotes from Phil Jackson himself stating they expect Bynum to be back playing a few games before the playoffs. And the Mavs lost to the Warriors because they had no dominating interior players, the Lakers have two of them. And last I checked the Spurs are 0-2 against the Dubs, maybe you should be worried too.....

next your gonna tell me Bynum tore his ACL right?

i know all the Laker fans want to just write this off as just a "we were short handed excuse" victory. But if you fail to take these guys seriously than i smell an upset. I would seriously pay money just to watch these guys play on TV.....shouldve aired on TV....

I think the Lakers would wax the Warriors in a playoff series.
