It could mean that he hasn't done a workout like that in a long time and may have just tweaked it a little. I doubt its anything serious.

So 2 months after his injury, Barry can't finish a shootaround. I have a hard time to see how he will be ready to help spurs during the playoffs.

I don't get what Spurs are doing with their 15th spot. A 5th swingman would be damn useful when Spurs need to go small. I find it really strange that Spurs haven't even tried some D-League players.

Anyway, good luck to Marcus Williams with Clippers. I'm disappointed that Spurs didn't signed him despite all his improvements. Clippers have signed the 33rd and 34th pick of last year draft.

I say the Spurs should sign Sean Banks now before the Toros play the D-Fenders without Marcus tonight.
I don't know why but Sean Banks hasn't played D-fenders last game. Maybe he is injured or he has gone overseas.

I'd be ok with DerMarr since he can at least shoot at an NBA level. Banks is my first choice since he's 23 and showed a lot of improvement this season. Desmon Farmer is about the only other swingman left with immediate scoring potential, and he's pretty good at moving the ball too. Mike Hall has some NBA experience, decent SF size and defense, but his offense has been spotty this season.

The D-League pickings are getting slim; if there is any room under the tax threshold, the Spurs should do something now.

Dahnatay Jones and Bobby Jones could be interesting pickups.

    I would take DerMarr

Seems like Bary won't be available for the playoffs.

    ditto,ditto,ditto,ditto,ditto, this really sucks.

Now there's a lot more pressure on Michael, at least just to score, since he doesn't do the other things that Brent does.

I don't see any callup or end-of-bencher breaking into the playoff rotation.

I would rather sign someone who is eligible for the playoffs.

Is Latrell eligible? (in terms of the Spurs over 34 y.o. rule?)

If it hurts in a shoot-around, it will hurt more pushing off in a game, just like earlier in his comeback game.

It's funny how people think the Spurs can pull in somebody not playing in the NBA who will replace Brent in playoff rotation. Ain't gonna happen, what we got now is what Pop will use in the playoffs.

Whomever is brought in, if anybody, will get garbage minutes, and there aren't many of those in the playoffs, esp with WC so tight.

Last I checked Latrell's agent considered the full MLE insulting, that was a couple years ago.

Latrell couldn't hit the last year he played, certainly nothing like 99.

That's a bummer. Hopefully it's nothing serious and he didn't want to push it too far.

I sure don't have my hopes up he'll be available for the playoffs though.

Farmer scored 49 points in regulation tonight including 8-12 three pointers.
