The Spurs are simply playing better ball than the Jazz right now, but the Jazz DO own the best home record in the league. I've always hated that court. It just feels dead, no wonder visiting shooters do too.
I even caught a game while there on business in '05 and they were playing the Sixers and gawd it made me miss San Antonio.
The 1-10 is a smart bet I think, because even if the Spurs jump out to a large lead Sloan won't let them rest, but the big money can be made on the 11-20 because of the level we're playing at right now. This is time to send a well placed message to the Utah Jazz: "We're still here, we've gotten better since last year and you haven't. Don't even think for a second you can compete with us in the playoffs"
I'm not telling you where I'm putting my money though.![]()
