When we looked at LA's remaining schedule a couple weeks ago, I did not pencil in losses to Memphis, Charlotte and Portland.
Spurs can move to within a half game of first and open a full game lead over LA with a win tomorrow.
Yeah I think the 1 spot is shot.
The 2 spot on the other hand is VERY doable.
Shame the Rockets in that case, couldn't fall to 7....
The two or the three seed isn't as interesting as going in as the #1. If the Lakers, Suns, Hornets and Mavs were all on the other side of the Western bracket that would be pretty sweet.
