I don't live in SA, but my son's gym offers parties. They have staff there to spot the kids and the kids can go crazy and do whatever they want. They have a rock wall and a rope over a lava pit (a hole in teh floor with a bunch of foam cubes) and all the gym stuff like rings and beams and trampolines. It's not cheap, but it's safe and supervised and what parent doesn't like to take their kid home completely worn out?![]()
Yuck I could never have my party at a place like that because those robot things terrified me too much. That gorilla alone would have been good for a year's worth of nightmares!
take them to a mirror maze and tell them first one to make it through by sprinting full speed wins 10 bucks.
Dije que todo las dias son especiales....I have done back to back birthday partys at incredible pizza...the first one was like a month right hafter they opened up in 2007 and it was handled pretty well...the second one which was just a few months ago in Feb was a little weak...when I reserved it they told me everything that was included in the birthday party last year now needed to be added on...we still did it but i knew it wasnt going to be the same but the kids still had a blast in the bumbper cars and the 4-d ride they have their
The Magic Time Machine. All the characters get up and sing a special birthday song to the birthday person and from what I've seen, hilarity usually ensues. The food is nothing special, but the atmosphere makes it worth it. That's what we're doing for my soon-to-be six-year-old.
I must be a bad parent.....I told my kid he was too old at 10 to have a birthday party. I took him to Dave and Busters and let him run wild. I spent more than if I would have had a party.
So maybe it works out.
My nephew had a little get together at the Rain Forest Cafe last month.
It's a nice place...
jungle jim's.
j/k.
I wish we had Celebration Stations in San Antonio. I love that place. I'd say take them there.
we used to have one of them out there by the bowling joint off of 281...but I guess that moneky was just too creepy for some folks
We've done this twice for my daughter at her gymnastic gym. Once when she turned 6 then last yr at ten. All the kids love it.
All the other times we just had a huge party at the house. I rent everything, jumper, cotton candy, dunk (water) machine, clown/magic, slipnslide set up. It's always fun.
This yr, I told her invite 2-3 friends from school and have a sleep over. They can decide what they want to do all day.
I think I'm going to go with Incredible Pizza.
Thanks...
you will like it and so will the kids...do the go carts....
My daughter will be 12 on the 23rd and just informed me today she is having a pool party/sleepover with 10 of her closest friends!!! Lucky me.
Pray for a late freeze![]()
Order pizza & rent "Carrie"![]()
Oh yeah, invite me, I do so know how to entertain 12 year olds![]()

No please, no late freeze!!! Then I'll have to deal with them inside my house! So you can entertain them? Do you know Hannah Montana or the Jonas Brothers?![]()
I can glam 'em up just like her![]()
at the end up the make over your daughter and her friends could end up looking like the hoodrats from the souf side pushing a stroller...member cheaper isn't always better and you always get what you pay for.....

I was just picturing 10 preteen girls walking around Mrs. Maalox's neighborhood looking like pregnant 12 year-olds with one or two kids already & eyebrows drawn on with sharpies.
BTW, do you teach them how to talk like souf siders as well?![]()
