Sit his ass until april 19. The Spurs have already clinched. Make the other players on the team learn to cope without Manu for a few games. If they slip in the seedings so be it. This could be a blessing in disguise. Lets hope so anyway. All thats left now is hope it seems.

Pop took him out around the 8 minute mark and he never came back and in the bench he was with the thigh protector on the ankles like if he knew he wasn't coming back.Is he injured? Did you hear something?

This injury is pretty horrible timing. If it's serious at all, Manu will have to sit out until the playoffs begin. At that point, he'll have to attempt to find his groove in the middle of the Spurs trying to survive the first round.

Hopefully Ginobili can return for the last few games of the season to get back into rhythm. But yeah, most important thing is for Manu to be healthy in the playoffs. If he's not healthy, there is no chance of a championship.

I think he got hurt on the final shot before the first half ended. He tried to shoot between two defenders and fell weird and came off limping.

Popovich said Ginobili suffered the injury immediately after checking into Wednesday's game with 6:40 left in the first quarter. Though he played through some discomfort and returned to the game in the second half, Popovich held him out of the bulk of the fourth quarter when it became apparent the injury was affecting his play.

It doesn't sound bad at all. This article sounds like it's a minor injury but Pop want to be extra careful that close to the playoff.
The good news is that the west is so crazy that a worst seed doesn't mean a stronger opponent.

It will be interested to see what Spurs will do to have a decent wingmen rotation while Manu is out. Will Barry be back? Bobby Jones contract expire before tomorrow game, will Spurs re-sign him, sign no one or sign someone else ?

I seem to remember a lot of people saying that Dirk was going to be out for weeks. The word "indefinitely" can sound very scary. On a bright side, this forces other guys on the team to step up and not depend on him to bail them out.
