You're a Laker fan and you're asking me this?
Whatever to get the Kings fan to shut up but I ing hate the lakers. Pure luck on that play.
Kings missed 14 FTs in G7, Peja choked on a wide-open 3 and Webber avoided the ball like it was the ebola virus in the clutch. Say what you will about Dirk, but he'll take the last shot. He just misses it sometimes.
thanks for the video![]()
If we lose as expected, I'm hopping aboard the Kobe bandwagon, at least until June. Actually, I think I prefer a Pistons le if we don't win, but I love Kobe, even though I hate the Lakers. Weird kind of dynamic, I know.
No way the Mavs lose to the Hornets. I predict the Mavs in 6 or 7, Mavs will leave it all on the floor in that series and play their hearts out.
Our bracket is brutal... Whoever wins the series goes straight to either the Spurs or Phoenix...
I think the Mavericks have a good shot at beating the Hornets..as you saw them play tonight that is what the Mavs have to do to win the series.
I'm cautiously optimistic, but our achilles' heel has been lack of crunchtime execution, not being able to consistently beat good teams on the road and perimeter defense. And the Hornets have the ability to exploit the last two with Chris Paul and HCA. Kidd made them pay for leaving him open tonight but can he do that on a consistent basis over a 7-game series? Byron Scott knows him as well as Nellie knows Dirk. Can we count on Kidd shooting 9-14 every night?
It's a cliche to say that "Kidd can't shoot," since he finishes well at the rim, he can post up and behind the arc on the wings he's pretty money. If I'm the Hornets, I try to funnel the ball to him for midrange jumpers. He absolutely does suck at those.
We split the season series. The first game in December, Peja hit a falling out of bounds three to force overtime. The second game was Kidd's first as a Maverick. Before December, we'd beaten them like 24 straight times or something, owned them even in the Chris Paul-David West era. I was shocked at first that the Hornets were playing to win this game, but their history against us is maybe why they played balls out to avoid us.
If Jason Kidd plays like ing superman during the series, it won't be so hard.
