When Iverson and Mello combine for 70, don't come crying to us.
Melo and AI will do that but Denver will lose 4 games by 15 points each

AI and Melo have to combine for 100 to beat the Lakers.

    Not really.

You've got KMart going for 15, Camby for 15, JR Smith for 15 to 20. Kleiza for 8, Nene for a few.

Nuggets are loaded up, and the lakers aren't the best of defensive teams.

Granted neither are the Nuggets, but the Nuggets can outshoot you.

Who knows what's going to happen in the playoffs.....
Denver is talented but from what I see they play no D. Carmello will probably try to choke Sasha again and will get ejected. Lakers in 6...I give Iverson respect.

Ah, sorry, I said 100 but I was exagerating but you know what I mean.

AI/Melo already combined for 77 points and still lost to the Lakers. I figure it's going to take 85-90 points by them combined for them to win.

And the Lakers think the Jazz will be a cakewalk?

They play physical basketball. Even if the Lakers do get past them, you don't think they'll be a little worn out?

I'm not saying the Spurs have their hands full, they do. However, the Lakers don't have a path paved in Gold. I think the Jazz match up very well with them and are incredibly difficult to beat at home. If the Jazz pull one of the first two out then I'd pick them as favorites to win the series against LA.

Again, this is all speculative, let's see how the 1st round turns out.

Remintonbo, I don't discount the Jazz against other teams at all but there are a few things we will always know:

    1) Jazz will always beat the Hornets
    2) Lakers will always beat the Jazz

Both matchups are always taken "personal"

Who really knows, I won't be shocked who wins. Rooting for Denver however.

IMO, a GS-Lakers series would have been a lot better.

The Nugs seem to be very streaky, and i don't think they match up well with LA, o how i wish Dallas would have dropped to that 8th seed!!!

i cant wait for Lakers-Nuggets. Those 3 games were so long ago and neither team was the same as it is now

The Lakers have Pau now but no Bynum
The Nuggets have a healthier Kmart and still no Nene
Melo got injured early in the 3rd game
JR Smith was in the doghouse for the games but now is playing a starring role

Lakers will still win but dont underestimate the Nuggets.

The Lakers are just as bad on D as the Nuggets it seems The Lakers are a team and the Nuggets are a bunch of inidividuals, thats what makes the Lakers so much better. Plus they have a good coach and the Nuggets don't lol
