Since I am not a lazy sack of , and try to be honest whenever possible, I did the following quick search of google.
A number of articles that appear to be fairly credible point to the existance of some form of training camps for terrorists, as well as irregular militias such as fedayeen (the loyal non-standing army goons that Saddam held as a last resort) in Iraq.
This is to be somewhat distinguished from any link between 9-11 and Iraq. This much has never been proven, and you can bet your sweet ass that the Bush administration would have that on the front page if they thought they could prove some link between 9-11 and Saddam.
I have little doubt that Saddam trained people who would destabilize potential regional rivals, and one the articles illustrates this when it talks of a gentleman who was a survivor of a Syrian government massacre who trained in the camps.
The best phrase was: "he used us, and we used him".
Yes or no:
Does AQ gleefully use the pictures from Abu Gharaib to make their point and for recruiting tools?
Does AQ point to Guantanamo as proof of a war against islam?
I must have missed that memo. You will forgive me if I don't take you at your word when you tell me what my party believes.
You are a poltical enemy after all...
