Yeah.. in the vid duncan was helping horry up off the ground when he was with the lakers.
Cavs fan here. Tim's the straw the stirs, no question about that, but you have a team full of guys who know how to make plays when plays need to be made. Finley, Manu, the Frenchman- they all stepped up yesterday and will continue to step up as the postseason progresses.
Spurs are going to be a tough, tough out. Good luck the rest of the way.

The reason that I focussed on Duncan in this game, even though there were otehr big contributions, is that without Tim the Spurs would not even have been in this game. He showed that Jordanesque determination to win at all costs that he pulls out of his bag of tricks when the team needs it most.
I think we should keep this thread alive as long as we are in the playoffs for discussion of Tim as playoff warrior, because he is a different beast when the real games roll around.
I can't believed I even questioned Duncan's ability to be effective against the Suns based on a regular season performance. That was one of a performance. We may not win this series but Duncan will be there busting his ass and giving great performance after great performance.

He was just foxing in the the regular season, but last night we saw the REAL Timmy D... you don't have to ask him to "please stand up, please stand up", because this is his time of year.
