Getting a guy like Kaman is easy.
Just suck bad enough to get the #8 pick.
ok...that was funny!CBA Massenburg![]()

They were together on the floor for 20 minutes. In this time Kaman scored 5 points (1/8 FG, 3/4 FT) and grabbed 6 rebounds (all in deffense).
I heard on a local radio station here in LA that Kaman works out in the offseason with Chris Webber because Kaman went to school with Webber's younger brother.
His defense is improving. The offensive game was already there. I think Kaman will make the Clippers a force to be reckoned with in the near future.

Nah, Rasho's D didnt mean last night, he stunk it up big time last night.
T Park, what the is wrong with you? Did I ever say his defense on Kaman was bad? Quote the post where I said that.
Uh user,
I dont think I said a word about you in the post above.
paranoid?
You and I have been the only two posters taking part in this discusion.
there is 34 posts just me and you??
noooooo.
Wasn't even referencing you.
Once again, dont ASSuME
Did anyone say trade for this guy on New Years Eve,KAMEN 19mins. 4 pts, 4reb.
You and I have been the key debaters in this thread about Rasho's defense. It was the same case in the other thread about Yao. The shot chart for the Houston game proved you wrong there. I never said Rasho didn't play good D against the Clippers. So either you're talking to me or you're "grumble posting".![]()
Again to be fair, he was coming off an injury. His injury history is the only real knock on him. He can be a real force if he stays healthy.
Liike ChumperDumper says this guy can be a player if he stays healthy. He has all the tools. Deceptively athletic, quick, agile. very long, can be/is a good shot blocker/rebounder, can put the ball on the floor, has a solid mid-range shot and good moves and shots around the basket, good hands, can run the floor, tenacious and intelligent. I have nothing against Rasho and like parts of his game but put TD and a developing Kaman together and you have a of a post. I'd trade Rasho for Kaman in a heartbeat.
as would I picnroll.
His defense though is not as good as Rasho's right now.
If you could say that Kaman's D could be equal to Rasho's then I would do the deal in a heartbeat.
Also, Kaman's injury proness is a little desheartening.
Isn't Scola a Kaman-type player? RBs, mix it up, hustle, inside scoring, without being too elegant and athletic about it?
not as tall.
But, supposedly yes.
Well see next year how Luis is.
If he plays identical to Kaman, than Nesterovic and Rose are both expendable, or Rose is.
If Scola could match what Kaman gives, Nesterovic off the bench.
This Spurs team gets so much better, its unreal.
Nowhere near the defender or rebounder. Not a 5 like Kaman. Better passer but if Scola succeeds and to the extent he succeeds it will be on largely on hustle and cleverness as an undersized, somehwat unathletic PF.
you're stupid tpark.
Kaman hustles and took the Spurs ass to school. That is more than Rasho has done in his whole career.
STFU.
Kaman is the REAL deal. Best analogy I can come up with is that he is a Cedric Maxwell in a 7 foot body.
look at his numbers VS Rasho in the game.
Goodnight bonzo.
Kaman looked good last night, key words.. last night
What did he do the night before?
I want to know the reality of the Spurs actually landing some like Kaman or even Ilgaskas? Can we get rid of enough contracts to do it? And if so who are the canidates that end up on other teams?
