Yes I thought so!
what happened to the suns again?
thought so.
This is a lie:
I like to see the Spurs getting some love but some remarks of this arctilce are very inaccurate. The Mavs are not much different than the Suns. They knew they weren't going to beat the Spurs with what they had.
DAF86 that is a great sig.
Unfortunately I dont think Hornets fans have any clue what they are up against playing the Spurs in the second round of the playoffs. They always bring up the 2 blowouts in SA that the Hornets pulled off, but they fail to realize it is not going to be that easy this time.
We won't be playing a discombobulated Mavs team any more.
Maybe someone should remind them... This is the Postseason Spurs they get to play this time.
A much different team than the Regular Season Spurs.
I fear that the Spurs will remind them pretty quickly on saturday
yup. ime can only jump three inches![]()
Hey now, I'm quite sure I saw him get 3.5" once or twice when he had a running start...
That was one thing I think a LOT of sportswriters and "experts" missed.
The Spurs, once they secure a playoff berth, always seem to let up a bit. Pop deliberately rests his starting guys, and gets his bench some "warm up" time for the playoffs. It's not really obvious, but a bit more subtle, and the team picks up on this.
Then the playoffs start and BAM!! They go from the slow trot of the last few regular season games to a full sprint for the playoffs.
Their bench has gotten a good chunk of recent play time, their starters are a bit more rested, both of which makes them capable of the sprint to the finish.
This strategy compensates for their older average age, and allows them to utilize older players who really have the depth of experience and poise to not lose it during clutch time.

I have to agree with princess gimp. a homer wrote this.
I do agree with some points but Spurs are not clearly better than Lakers, Detroit or Celtics. and even NO might cause problems. this series with NO will go at least 6 games. Spurs will win but it will be tough
Thanks,
Yeah, this should be a great series
Stan Understands the Spurs and playoff basketball. He's not a Spurs homer, he's an NBA commentator with his eyes open.
Ime Udoka is a bruising 3, not an athletic one (we need one of those... like Julian Wright who can be scary!), and Manu and TD will need to play very big in the coming series. TP vs CP3 will be fascinating. Bring it.
this sucks. I can't wait till tomorrow!?!?!!!!!!
