sit him out in game one get him healthy to play game 2
AMEN!!!!!!!!!I hope he is just concerned because he wants to be 100% for the olympics.
Gosh I canīt wait for the olympics....
sit him out in game one get him healthy to play game 2
Not literally but sissy as in sensitive.
yeah because repeating champs and supporting to his that is paying him over 10 million this year should not be in his first interst
I think hater was being ironical
Pop and the trainers certainly know Manu's status more accurately than anything quoted in the press. If he's practicing, then that sounds OK.
sorry but making his millions of countrymen happy and making world history beats any kind of money.
and I was not being ironical. I'm hoping that is his concern, because if not, that means he is really hurt even for NBA play
If that's the case, that'd be amazingly lame.
I highly doubt hes talking about the olympics.
Ok.... first of all, Manu mentioned lots of times that there was nothing better than playing for our NT and winnning gold medals, that said... he also stated that he wants to stay in the spurs till the end of his career and win as many championships as possible.sorry but making his millions of countrymen happy and making world history beats any kind of money.
and I was not being ironical. I'm hoping that is his concern, because if not, that means he is really hurt even for NBA play
He wants it all!![]()
thanks for supporting my point.
anyway my bad, let's forget about that and concentrate on game 1. I am sure manu is doing the same.
Anyone who thinks Manu is thinking about the olympics atm, does not know Manu at all.
Besides, I'm argentine, and a Spurs fan, and if I would have to choose, I would take the ring this year over the gold for sure. Manu already gave more to our NT than we ever spected, I'm personally gratefull for life to him.
I am not argentine and if I had to choose I would choose a ring too.
but anyone who thinks the olympics are not in the back of manu's head does not know manu at all.
What I'll eat tomorow night is also in the back of my head, but that doesn't mean . I'm not thinking about it and you can bet I'm not concerned about it.
All I'm thinking/concerned right now is about the work I have to do right now, so is Manu.
no!!!!
seems like i need to pull out a prayer to St. Brigid of Ireland
oh ya, f^ck the olympics! i want 5 for my team!

Manu will not ask for a rest because he is a warrior. He'd want to play if he was on crutches. And he'd be better than even money to make a crucial foul shot in the last seconds even on crutches.
I am not in a mood for jokes, is he right?

No that doesn't sound like Manu.
not a joke. I wouldn't joke about something like this.
Do you know what Manu did on that practice? Maybe he didn't want to miss the practice to regain some confidence on his shooting touch, his jumper looked awfull the last couple of games.
Manu isn't a drama queen, every time he said he's hurt he ended up missing games. I'm really worried.
''If he dies, he dies''
His jumper is off because he isn't able to generate any lift off his injured ankle. ever tried to take a jump shot on a bad ankle? It hurts like a MFer.
his interview is up at Spurs.com. Manu said that now there is no time to heal it so it sounds that Manu's just going to give what he's got. It sounds like it's not getting better but he said it's not getting worse and that he won't sit out unless he thinks he can't help out at all.
So he will play?
