    Salvatore is incompetent.

    Bavetta is just senile.
    It's funny cause it's true.

That was Bennett Salvatore (and Ron Garretson and Greg Willard).
    Correct.

I remember the main reason I hate Salvatore(outside of his completely altering the outcome of the Rockets Mavs series a few years ago with a bad out of bounds call among many other blown calls)...I remember when that bag fouled Drob out in like 10 minutes of play against the Lakers in 03.
That was game four of that series. Shaq and Kobe each went to the line 20 times. But only TD was getting to the line for the Spurs, hence the Lakers shot twice as many free throws. That game was such a load of crap.

Bavetta isn't a great ref but I'll take that won-loss record we have with him.

My favorite refs are Joey Crawford, Dan Crawford, and Bob Delaney.

One interesting note regarding officials. Joe Forte officiated 3 of the 4 regular season meetings between New Orleans and San Antonio. The 2 Spurs losses and the home win for the Spurs. Ken Mauer was listed as on the crew at both Spurs' wins.

Damn it. I wanted DCrawford. Bavetta and Wunderlich on the road isn't a very good combination. Bavetta will hit Parker for about two travelings and Duncan for a questionable offensive foul ... like always.

On the road, you want either of the Crawfords or Javie. But yeah this crew is better than Salvatore or Nies.

ie B loves calling offensive fouls because doing the motion makes him feel young.

The refs in the NBA are a ing joke all around. It's pathetic that we have to worry about who is reffing a particular game. Does anyone have any good, realistic ideas about how to fix this. I don't want constant replay either but I think there should be a few challenges available.

How does that saying go....complaining about no shoes and meeting a man with no feet?

Tim Duncan: "I complained about the NBA refs until I was introduced to FIBA!"
