Can Mahinmi be brought up for this series against the Hornets?

(This may have been addressed already)....
Ian's been on the 15 man roster all year. Austin's season is done, so I'm sure he's at the back of the bench in a suit.

The towel throwing on this board is reaching ridiculous levels.
We've got to win 4 out of 5 against a team that has a habit of blowing us out.
Pretty good reason to be pessimistic.

Even if you set aside the predicament we're in, this team still has major moves to make in the off season unless we want to sit on our laurels.

The next 2 games are on our floor. And we've had some good fortune on our floor with the suns.

All the spurs have to do is build some confidence with 2 wins, and take that into game 5 and steal one.

But hey, 09 is gonna be good too. Even if we're (unlikely) eliminated in the semis, we'll still be primed for a championship run next year.

You provide matchup problems for half-court teams.

    Let’s face it if we repeat we must still rebuild;

Finley, Horry, Stoudamire, Vaughn, Bruce and Brent it's needed for the Spurs to be compe ive every year.
You left off Oberto and Thomas. Ever since David retired we've had problems at the Center position. They've come and gone. Pop needs to get Timmy some help/relief. And we need shooters. When we are off we stink up the whole NBA. Night after night we get big, fat gooseeggs from two starters...Finley and Bowen. OK, we get a couple baskets from one or the other on certain nights but, when you add Oberto into the starting lineup you have two guys who can score, Tony & Tim. We also need alot more athleticism and length.

Pop and RC have their work cut out come the off season. In the meantime there should be no way we lose this series. Our guys need to get focused again and remember they are the Champs. I don't even recognize the team wearing the Spurs uniforms these past two games. I lood for a big win Thursday night. After all the Heat did it against the Mavs 2 years ago. The Rockets did it in their back-to-back years. The Lakers did it to us about 3-4 years ago. It can be done if the guys dig down deep and become 12 Rocky's.

    Now Go Kick Hornet's Butt...!!!

Why? The Hornets are a better basketball team.

It's not rebuilding if our core remains in tact (Duncan, Ginobili, and TP)

Were the Bulls considered "rebuilt" after their 1991, 1992, and 1993 championships?

It was a different team around MJ/Pippen for the 1996, 1997, and 1998 championships.

No thread like this one is complete without the usual impossible trade idea that would never materialize:

    - "I know! Let's trade for Chris Paul!"...
