That's it really.....but like one of the Spurs fans admitted, it's homerism and nothing more.
What a fitting poem! Thanks for posting it.
I am ready to see the Spurs rage against the Hornets!
That's it really.....but like one of the Spurs fans admitted, it's homerism and nothing more.
I think the Spurs outproducing the Hornets in crunch time could have the same effect too. Remember, the Hornets have blown out the Spurs the first two games. They have not faced the Spurs in a tight playoff game yet. If the Spurs can get back on track and win the next home game (hopefully next 2 home games for Spur fans) winning in crunch time could make the Hornets doubt their down the stretch game plan.
I agree and mentioned that in another post. The spurs haven't been able to show the hornets anything in crunch time since they are blown out by then. They need to be up or close and then go kobe on them in the last 2 minutes. I'd still like to have a monster game where nothing they throw at the Spurs works anymore so they'll start making changes to their still comfortable strategy.
By the way, their strategy has worked so far because the Spurs are missing a lot of open looks. Remember first half of game 1 when the Spurs were hitting all those 3s that they looked completely lost for moments. Then we had the hugo situation that finished that.
Eh. We don't mind it so much, we use it ourselves, but....y'know. Moderation in all things.Plus, at *least* half the time we use "us" and "we" on this board, we're talking in Venom-speak.
Sucks that Pop is too weak to completely pull Finley from this series b/c Finley's feelings would be hurt.
I have ambivalent feelings about Finley.
It won't shock me if the Spurs come back and take this series, but it wont be because the Hornets fold. The Spurs are going to have to find their rythym and outplay the Hornets, because the Hornets are clearly peaking at the wrong time for Spur fans.
I can't help but think back to '03 when the Spurs were a team thought to be a year or two away, and went up against the resident dynasty in the semis. The Spurs were the higher seed, yet the underdog. They also had an M.V.P caliber player(from Wake Forest) who people were saying might be the best to ever play his position, while opening the series with two convincing wins.
Here's hoping this series is more like '04, and not '03.
Real teams can get out of these holes, not underachievers that are 0-10 in this situations
and btw take notes from the Magic game last night.
Let's see. The Hornets have beaten the Spurs by 25, 24 (in SA), 19, and 18 pts this season. Yet if the Spurs manage just one blow-out victory, the Hornets will hang their heads and doubt themselves?
Classic!
Hornets will probably win in another blowout.
Don't listen to this weak spurfan smack...
I'm loving every minute of this series...
Yeah, I don't see that happening. The Suns might doubt themselves, but the Hornets don't know any different. You might count on Peja getting the yips, but it's easier just to put Bowen on him and keep him from getting shots off.
The only reason I believe you is because I was so mesmerized by the asses in your AV. I love asses and legs...especially in stilletto's. Thanks.![]()
