I had earlier looked up SM's height on TallBlacks site, where he's listed as 2.10 m.

( The metric system is .... whott ... invented by the uh, uh, .... the French. )

I haven't seen much of him, I expect effort, and hustle....there's alot of people in the bench that want to prove themselves and I believe he's one.

I really hope he steps it up against whoever he matches up with.

    Is he starting?

No. Coach Pop normally doesn't let new comers play any significant minutes the first game. So starting is out of the question.

Sean has been on Spurs injured reserve, and in every damn Spurs practice for 2 years. That disqualifies him as a newcomer.

He might be a beachcomber, or early mer, but he ain't a newcomer.

I know Rasho can be "soft" and frustrate the out of Spurs fans but he is going to be missed on the defensive end quite a bit. Rasho does an excellent job of helping out on the defensive side of the ball and he is a presence that is underrated. Another area he does no get enough credit for is his ability to screen and move into spots on the floor to box out and rebound. Even when Rasho does not come up with the rebound he is in the mix and it enables Tim to move into better position. Rasho is going to be missed!

Will Duncan start at center? Or someone else because Rose/Horry are good sized PF's.

Rose and Horry are not good sized power forward. Horry doesn't have the muscle/bulk to really be a C. And rose even though he has played it in the past is to damn short at 6'7 if he's lucky.

While you will probably see them at C during his stretch it is far from ideal.

Isnt that cool. A Marks is off the IR. The best news to hear while youve got a hangover. I dont think the game will be broadcast here though it mite if ESPN is covering the match.

    Marks 2.10 meters

    (210 cm) / (2.54 cm/inch) = 6'9"
If he is 210 cm, then he is 6'10.5"
