    Spurs should just give him a raise and tell him it's your job when Pop steps down. As soon as Duncan retires so will Pop one would think.

    Ha ha ha! Another CIA operative getting put in charge. Pop threw the '06 Mavs series to establish AJ's cover and since then? Mavs make two first round exits, Cavs overachieve to get to the finals only to get swept by the Spurs, Phoenix trades for Big S of His Former Self, and Seattle spins its wheels for a little while. Look for the Suns to deal as many first round picks as possible (if they have any left), have Coach Bud run the team straight into the ground, and watch the fans gouging their eyes out with sporks as those lottery picks go to other teams.

    He needs to stay. He's a very underrated asst. coach that can easily make the leap to head coach, IMO.
