Good God! I'm so sick of hearing this familiar refrain. I'll be happy once we finally win this le, so that get on with the retooling process. After the parade, the FO should immediately bid farewell to Horry, Barry, Finley, Stoudamire, and Vaughn so that the national media will get off their asses.

The Spurs should be able to quiet all that kind of talk if they win tonight end show their "experience"

But if the Spurs don't win tonight, expect to hear more old jokes for the next 2 days

Slow? Slow is a sign of, well, athletes like Ginobili know all too well what slow signifies.

"We always talk about how experienced we are," he said. "Well, we were not yesterday. We were just old."

Is that Manu's quote? I thought he said " we didn't play smart" Is that a misquote?

Listening to the sports talk stations here in LA; they're talking about the Spurs in past tense.
Just like when they were crowned a few years ago before going down to Detroit.

Well, for Manu's style of play and how he sacrifices his body in his style of play, it almost seems 30 for Manu might be 35 for the average NBA player.

Kobe at 29 is not that much younger than Duncan. I do think that Kobe missing the playoffs one season and the Lakers losing in the first round two straight seasons does afford his legs to be a little younger and fresher though. Plus, Kobe is a weight room and conditioning freak. Jordan was 28 when he won his first le and 36 when he won his last le. I think comparisons in terms of being in their prime can be made.

The Spurs total dependence (or maybe even overdependence) on the skills of Ginobili is showing up. He's a special player. Now the offense is suffering big time because of his injury. The dude is worn down and there's no on else on this team that can give them the type of energy jolt that he does.
