I'm sure Phil (or Pop for that matter) says worse stuff during timeouts or between games.

one thing no one is talking about that i believe is really relevant is the fact that kobe has never really been in this position before. sure he won a ring in the past but we all know shaq was the commandor of that ship, how will kobe readjust his game plan with his teammates slowly vanishing away
He will keep doing what he has done in all 3 games, monitor how the team is doing and if he needs to pick up the scoring he will but if the guys are in a groove he will pick the defense apart.

Well, that's kind of stupid. I'd take a warrior like Brand over a wimp like Gasol any day.
The record with Gasol speaks for itself. Considering what LA gave up to get him, how he fits next to Bynum, and how he naturally fits in the pecking order - he's not the best PF but he's the best fit.

I would say Brand is a much better player imo, but is injury prone, so no i wouldn't make that deal.

I'd take Boozer over Gasol. Lakers with Boozer right now? Spurs have possibly no chance. I'd take an injury prone Brand - if he even is injury prone - over Gasol.

Boozer would not be nearly as effective as Gasol in the triangle. He can't defend or rebound any better and his passing is not as good. He has a better midrange, but he would get dominated by Duncan just as Gasol is.

The fact that you would even insinuate such a thing shows how little you know about basketball.

Man, you're a tool. I know you love yourself some Spanish jock, but Boozer is by far the better player. But thanks for playing. Brand is better than both, and you probably didn't even know who Pau Gasol was before your lickspittle team traded for him.

Body, you should check out how much jazz fans hate boozer, it isn't even funny, they all say "i' take bogut over boozer" of course a lot of that is bias since Bogut played for Utah University.

Hey, Boozer produces. He doesn't block shots, he's not a great defender. We're comparing him to Gasol, remember? I'm not claiming he's Karl Malone.

No, he is not......at least not for this Laker team. Gasol was born to play in the triangle offense. He is that good a fit, and it's no surprise that it took him almost no time to fit right in.

I wont be changing you're opinion, but i think Gasol fits in a lot better, idk if you saw him play against us, but he did pretty much nothing.

While Shaq was shrinking away from Duncan and The Little Mermaid, Kobe was flushing dunks over both of them in traffic.

    Weak effort, try again.
    Wow, nice.

Good to see Laker fan putting down the guys who earned 3 Finals MVPs each.

What has Kobe done without Shaq again?

A lotta insecure people around here. Phil blasts his own players and you rant about how you hope he does too much. How you'd rather have Elton Brand. How Kobe's never been in this position before.

Really? When did you guys start watching basketball? Even when Shaq was the cornerstone of the team, Kobe always carried the team at the end of play-off games. Usually because Shaq was in foul trouble or was succeptible to the hack-a-shaq.

Thankfully, no one uses that hack-a-player tactic anymore. Now, that was a weenie move.

    Oh wait. Nevermind.
