if I remember correctly it happened when Coach"foul Bowen" Nelson coached the all-Star a few years back... He brought Dirk,& Nash with him.
He more than likely doesnt.I think Pop could give a rat's ass if he is there or not. He will take it if he qualifies but otherwise, I really think he doesn't care. just my.02 though.
But, It would be great after all these years of the Spurs not starting great, to see a Spurs coach at the All Star game.

If both Phoenix and SA win out, then Phoenix gets best record and Mike gets to coach the game over Pop, because the Suns will be 1/2 game ahead of SA.
That is totally dumb if the teams have played different numbers of games. It should be who had the best record at 42 games.
