Maybe the Nets and Bobcats, who haven't faced the Spurs yet this season, are two of the three teams. (?)
Is it thrue that 27 out of 30 teams voted for Beno? If it is... WHAT THE WERE THOSE 3 TEAMS THINKING?!?![]()

Congrats to Beno and I hope he has a good game.
I refer to him as "Beno-matic".
But he still sucks!

There were times when he was Benzio...![]()
Beno the man!
Nice reward for him!![]()
I remember watching one of the televised summer league games and some of Beno's teammates (Noel Felix and some those guys) were calling him....

I thought Beno = Manure? Oh wait, that's Manu = Manure.
Sequ, are you comfortable with the point guard situation or does Beno still make you nervous? I know you've been his biggest critic and you've recently changed your mind a little bit...do you think he'll hold up in the playoffs?
I personally think he could become a starter on some team in the future. He's got some weaknesses that are hard to mask, but he sees the floor well and can shoot the ball.
Sequ changes his mind in the same thread.

..they still can't understand WHY this 27th pick is sooo good they ignored him the draftnow he's playing for the BEST team of the season

I heard the great news on the radio last night when Bill S was interviewing Beno after the game. I am so proud of Beno! How exciting! He is so going to kick tail!
Bill S said the reason they wanted to interview Beno on the Impact Player of the Game show was because he was so excited about being named to the All Star Rookie Team. I thought that was really cute!
I also thought Beno was sweet to thank the fans for being such a great crowd. It is nice to hear that our support makes a difference to the team. The guys are always great about acknowledging that but somehow it never gets old. I think it is because I know they mean it.
Nice!
The Sop re class is clearly going to own though.
That sop re class(last years freshman class) got it's ass beat into the dirt last season...by a team also lacking in star power compared to the LBJ and Melo show.
It wasn't even a compe ive game...
I predict at least 100 dunks in the game.
I recorded last year's Rookie vs. Sop re game, and I believe an NBA analyst said that there were over 80 dunks.....
Congrulations!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's not only pretty impressive that the Spurs have had a rookie on the all-rookie team for so many years, it's also particularly cool that the Spurs excellent talent scouting is honored - Beno is a MUCH lower pick than any of the other rookies selected, I believe - how often is a player from the middle of the 2nd round sent to the all-rookie team? The only other recent one I can think of is Parker.
Manu was drafted in 2nd round!
Tony and Beno were in 1st! 28th overall both!
