Yao Ming is probably one of the most underestimated players, strength wise. That guy has massive legs. He doesn't have as much upper body strength, but he's probably got one of the most powerful lower frames in the history of the league.

My vote goes to Shaq. I can't think of anybody who can still get off a dunk attempt with 3 guys climbing his back. Thing is....he used to be able to convert them.
