In that case, I would like to see the Euroleague try to take a run at Gilbert Arenas. Agent Zero. Maybe Shawn Marion. Doubt that would happen but would be interesting if nothing else than but for the sheer spectacle it would be.

But is very hard because Greek League rules is that each team is only allow to have 2 American players. Like Olympiacos already have Lynn Greer and Qyntel Woods and to sign Parker is only possible because he have EU passport I think from Israel or maybe that is wrong and when he sign Woods or Greer must leave team. I am not sure.

is not like NBA where league allow team sign any player they want. Greek league is only allow for 2 American player and 4 non EU player all rest of team must be Greek players. Is these type of rules makes very hard to sign Americans from NBA even though teams want to.

I am going to make a prediction. First I think the Euroleague will end up changing their rules about how many Americans can play. Second I think you'll see a lot of American players come over. Third, I think the NBA will throw out their rookie cap rule to compete for rookies. I also think that the NBA will eventually throw out their veteran cap rules for the LLE and MLE and the team CAP. Either that or the Euroleague will come up with Caps themselves after a long negotiation with the NBA. After a long time battling for players, their will be an agreement and an expanded NBA/Euroleague combined league.

Why would Scola go to all the trouble of coming over here and then going right back. Sounds like a crazy rumor to me. If there is truth to it and #4 for Houston wants to go back to Europe, then there was not a chance in the world of making the guy happy.

However, this one does not pass the smell test to me at this point.

It can't happen, the Rockets would not let Scola out of his contract.......for nothing...they wouldn't let V-Span out of his contract either......

The only reason V-Span got released was that the Spurs needed cap room and traded the rights to Scola for him.

A contract is a contract, but the NBA is going to have to deal with the Euroleague soon, because the dollar is crap.

Is report by Panathinaikos even though they make this offer and Scola and agent wants it because many time more money than he can make in NBA Rockets refuse agree let him from contract and refuse allow PAO pay all contract off also.

Scola not have opt out clause in contract so is control all by Rockets. Bad thing though this will probable not make Scola so happy that he have chance for $30 million contract with no taxes and Rockets block him from this.

I believe Rockets better make sure Scola is more important and get more play time next year because these type thing of money and contract can make player mad at team.
