By the time Dragic ends up in Phoenix Shaq and Nash will be 40 years old.
So three years from now if this guy is good, people on the board will remind us that we didn't trade him away because we were drafting for the Suns....
By the time Dragic ends up in Phoenix Shaq and Nash will be 40 years old.
thank god the spurs didnt need Dragic
Too funny. I think Dragic would have been more help than Hill.
There goes the ploto support, though.![]()
Nice job Spurs.
Kerr knows nothing of Tau Ceramica.
Too bad Dragic isn't even coming over.
Spurs learned their lesson, and gave the Suns TAU bull to deal with...guess it ain't all that bad. Kerr's a bag.
it all comes down to the cash
Yeah, we wouldnt have seen that idiot anyway. And we traded for another guy that can touch rim! OMG!!! Seriously though, Hairston is a guy who played in a very tough basketball conference against top compe ion for a couple years, made the NCAA tourney the last two years so I would much rather have him
So the Spurs just traded one second round pick for two second round picks and cash?
The Suns front office blows!
well, at least we got Hairston.
that means we can at least have some type of hope after we got Hill, Hairston, and Gist. none of them are foreigners that we have to worry about lol
Nice deal for the Spurs. Maybe this draft wasn't such a cluster afterall.
Perhaps in 2014.
Woohoo! Good job Spurs FO. Way to make the Suns look like es again. I'm feeling a little better now...
Great trade! For real.
Get a second round pick for going down three slots in the second round? ROFL. Thanks Kerr![]()
Dragic -- the one thing I liked about this draft.
I remember feeling great for about 5 seconds when the Spurs drafted Barbosa -- then the same thing happened.![]()
And cash. From the franchise that sells picks for cash.
well atleast he can dunk...
lol look at who hes dunking on , on this video
Spurs are always seem to prefer "cash considerations" over actually getting player value in return. They seem value CASH way more than player improvement.
Yeah Hairston makes a lot more sense. Again, Summer League should be fun, and Chump should have a lot of scouting to do for us in Austin. That's always fun. Oddly enough, I do feel better about this draft now, at least it makes more sense to me.
Hairston was a high school stud who was underwhelming in college. But he's a swingman with legit size who has a chance to re-find himself. I liked Dragic but he's at least two years away.
And then get cash and another second round pick?
Got damn nice trade. Props.
what irony, that youtube hairston dunk is on ryan anderson. thank god we didn't draft anderson...
Are you sure you're reading that correctly? I think the Spurs just get Hairston and cash (not an extra pick).
