It's hard to knock on Parker because he really got us out of the gate.
The problem some might have is that while he has 37 points he also has 32 shot attempts.

Parker has been great ALL game. Just because he doesnt score 18 every quarter doesnt mean hes sucking. Hes continued to put pressure on the Defense even while not scoring in the 2nd half and create for others.
Hes been the best player in BOTH halves.
Yep! They said they didn't expect the game to be like this without Duncan or Manu - but they can't say enough good things about Parker!
Oh - and they've been ragging on Dirk quite a bit because he's been having some pretty lousy games lately.

You don't own the man because he plays sports. He lives in the lap of luxury because he's a very good basketball player, and that has nothing to do with what we are talking about.
As for "he doesn't have to live here", what horse . Just because he doesn't agree with your point of view, he should move to another country? He did not insult the soldiers, nor did he insult the flag - if he burned a flag and said that "America is " then he might be anti-American, but he didn't do those things, he simply said he doesn't "celebrate" the anthem. It is unreasonable to call him "anti-American" just because the anthem doesn't mean the same thing to him as it does to you.
We are talking about something very similar to the Dixie Chicks saga - they were not being "anti-American", that was patently obvious to anyone with half a brain, they simply objected to their country's involvement in a war that they disagreed with, as is their democratic right and responsibility, and yet they were hounded as if they had betrayed the nation. Jingoism at its finest.

Things we learned from this game: Don't be on Bonner's hit list.
I was on my way home from work when I heard Bill Schoening say Timmy wasn't playing. I thought for sure it would be a loss for us - but after seeing Tony outscore the whole Mavs team in the first quarter - I figured we had a great chance to win the game.
It was a really good game all around - very proud of how our guys stepped up!

The defense played well and considering they found out that TD wasn't going to go at gametime....very nice!!
Dallas only shot 34% from the field and held Dirk in check!
