Maybe it's the result of playing him 48 mn the last game

The perfect scenario for people who can't stand Shaq, like myself, is the Lakers winning it now. Dwight already became the most successful center for the Magic and Kobe gets his 4th ring.
Make it happen basketball gods.
all about shooting. the magic just made shots. they were at home but a scrub did go nuts with alston. they had the best shooting game in finals history and it was close. i just give credit to lakers for being in it cause it was a historical onslaught by the magic
lol, Kobe will never be close to the GOAT turning the ball over in crucial situations in the finals. That is now two games in a row that man has been a turn over machine when it counted the most, laaaaaaame.
I had a beer just before the game
Now I'm having one for each remaining game
I've learned to take these kind of stats with a grain of salt.
After all they almost won Game 2 shooting 42%...
maybe, considering it was every other day and they added travel to this. makes you wonder why in the world would they give 3 days off for game 2 but on a travel day only give 1 day off.
At least the Magic can say that they have won a game in the NBA Finals now. The Cavs are now the only team that has been to the Finals but have never won a game.
Drink 1 for me too, my beer is too salty from me crying into it...just kidding about the F*you part, btw.![]()
I'm disappointed the Lakers lost this one but not discouraged about the series.
When the Lakers lost Game 2 to Denver I was seriously worried because they were being outplayed on both ends of the floor. I had very real doubts that they could win that series.
With the Magic I don't get the same feeling. They shot 63% from the field, Kobe missed 5 F/T's, and Kobe made some dumb TO's to close the game. And they barely squeaked by.
Right.![]()
Turn the tables around a sec, if Kobe doesn't have that monster first half, this game would have been a blow out.
Lets assume the magic won't shoot like that again this series, well I don't think Kobe is going to have another half like that again either.
the key for the next game is foul trouble. gasol got 2 fast along with bynum and howard has yet to to encounter foul trouble after game 1.
1 player is more likely to go nuts than an entire team for an entire game. kobe was nuts for a half
Lakers played very well. They shot 51% from the field and competed hard. Magic just played better. We will see who cools down and to what degree. Lakers would have to melt down just to have a 1% chance to lose this series.
for some reason, this made me laugh. Probably cause it was so unoriginal

Kobe deserves to get reamed on that last play.
That was an unheard of choke. Not only did he lose the ball, Gasol retrieved it and passed it to him and he BOBBLED IT AGAIN and gave it away to Pietrus.
Unheard of choke. That was 1000x worse than Lee's play.
I don't know who is making the NBA scheduling but he is stupid at best no logic at all. I definitely think big part of the bad Kobe 2nd half is on the 48 mn and the short time to rest
I still can't believe the Magic held on to win. Even though they almost certainly won't win the series... this game gave huge amounts of experience for that team.
I really wasn't trying at all.
