That would be rape if the Rangers got Lee for that.
It's going to have to be either one of Scheppers or Perez with Davis or Smoak + a catcher. I just don't see how we get Lee without giving up one of Scheppers or Perez. If we can, though, it'll be a damn good trade. I don't mind parting with Holland and wouldn't like giving up Smoak but if they can get assurances that Lee would agree to a new contract once the sale goes through I wouldn't oppose it.

tbh, he's in a compe ion with other reporters around the DFW area, so if he tells me something in advance I'm not gonna post it around the internet so that other people could get word of it.
I actually knew about this last week. Same thing with the Guerrero deal, he told me that Texas was probably gonna get him 4-5 days prior, but since nothing was official he didn't want me to let the word out.

Ervin Santana was terrific for the Angels today. Too bad for the Halos, John Danks completely owned them. Took a no-hitter into the 7th, and just finished a complete game two-hit shutout. White Sox win 1-0 to finish the four game sweep.
