I let it go about Kobe. The series is over, no use whining about it now.

But its amazing the way its now happening with Durant, the NBA's golden child. Look at the way Kidd defends Durant, especially before he gets the ball. He basically shoves him with both hands like one of those football practice drills.

If one of OKC's players did that with Dirk, he'd be ejected and beaten in the lockerroom.

He and Terry started shooting blanks as the game got tight, especially Terry. OKC showed TREMENDOUS mental toughness down the stretch, particularly "The Beard". Collison played big to.....Dirk helped him out by bringing the ball low on the steal instead of keeping it high but he was all over the floor and defended the PnR with Kidd and Dirk pretty well. Barea was just going off.

The key was making Terry create offense off the dribble instead of just letting Dirk get to his spot and isolate every time. Fronting Dirk changed the way the entire Mavs offense was run. Then the quick double from behind as soon as he put the ball on the floor. If you let him get into his little rhythm, he WILL score. Cut that out.

I don't know what the they should do with Barea. That little er is just going to keep making everything, and they just have to take it.

It it were up to me, they'd put him and Perkins in a cage match and let only one of them come out alive, like Wolverine vs the Hulk.
