Fair enough. Just don't want people to accuse me of being biased for Aussies. I'm not a fan of Baynes....
Well, whenever you arrive you always ask how Patty is doing, and your name is BoomersGold, so there is at least a hint of Aussie bias there.

Not really. Just putting the idea out there. Received a lot of negative responses.
maybe because you kept backing it up?

Offense was great throughout. Defense was stout in the 2nd half.

    Best win in a while.

    Timmy: 19 pts 8 rbs 4 ast 5 blk

    Gasol + Randolph: 23 pts 8 rbs 3 ast 0 blk

Kind of like game one of 2005 finals where he outplayed both Wallaces combined!

/doldrums for Spurs, and about time too. Thankfully, not too much damage done.

I look forward to pummelling the Warriors now.

I gave Boomersgold a response, but was sadly ignored.

So you're a Kicks fan who loves to berate our team when we lose and bask in the glory when we win... WTF? TROOOOOLLLLLLLLLLL.
    What's a kicks fan?

You're always getting ahead of yourself. Not being a homer like yourself equates to being a troll when you say something negative about your team on a particular game they played. Excellent logic.

Are you ones of the dummys that call everyone a troll when they dont agree with your heavy homerism? Rhetorical question, dont answer.

3rd Q of game 5 was one of the ugliest POS in basketball history, and when we went down by 7 in a low scoring game I was -scared the game was slipping away, but then Timmy, who was having a shocker, took advantage of a mismatch with Prince on the right block and it was game on. From then on Tim dominated the quarter to get us back in the game, and in the 4th it was Big Shot Rob time with his 21pts in 17mins after being cold the entire series who went on to win it for us. Truly amazing game.

2005 Finals are vastly under-rated by non-Spurs/Pistons fans - was superb defensive basketball.

Just because Pop used to start Blair alongside to Timmy, don't think any rookie scrub will receive the same treatment.

Feel good win! Warmed the cuckolds of my heart. Guys really seemed to gel out there, like they haven't in a few games. Should be a good win to build on.

Knicks, , as in YOUR AVATAR.. Enjoy picking up on other people's typing errors do you?

No, I know you. You've lurked around here spreading BS for about 3 years.

And no, I'm not a homer at all. I criticise the team when they deserve it.

For basketball purists it was basketball at the best. Everything fought for. Nothing easy.

My favorite series of all time, but I'm just a tad bit biased. Game 5 was just amazing.

Umm my avatar is of Taz. Keep failing bud.

And I was being sarcastic. I know how touchy you are which is why I said that knowing you would get all excited.

I've been here since 2008, thank you, have been, always been a Spurs fan and I criticise this team whenever they're not playing well. You would hardly find a post of mine where I "barate" the Spurs when they're playing up to their level.

Just because you're an overly sensitive Spurs fan doesn't mean every Spurs fan should feel or be like you.

I have my opinions, you have yours. That's how it works.

Sucking up to teh Spurs, even when they play ing horrible basketball doesn't become me. I'll say something about it when they do and that's how it is.

I like to re-watch the vid of game 5 when I need a pick-me-up. Horry's blitz never fails to amaze.

When your opponent is getting all the calls AND shooting lights out, maybe it's time to look at what you're doing.
You have to beat your opponent or they will beat you.
Spurs seem perpetually back-footed against good teams. There's a reason for it, and it has little to do with the opponents merely shooting well and supposedly getting preferential treatment from the refs.
I was wondering if you'd eat crow at the end of the thread, but I guess not.

With Gasol out much of the first half, second half will be a lot tougher.
Sooooooooooooo glad you were way off on this one.

last night was Tiago's best game ever as a Spur. not for his box score but for his grit and toughness. he was every where last night. he had some fumbles early in the game but got it together and brought it hard in the 2nd half.

Splitter had a 10 and 9 game earlier in the year against the Lakers that was pretty good.
